Suicide Squad stars Will Smith as Deadshot, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Jared Leto as Joker, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc, Karen Fukuhara as Katana, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag, Adam Beach as Slipknot, and Jay Hernandez as El Diablo. The movie is set to hit theaters next August.

Ricky Gervais returning to host 2016 Golden Globes

Returning to the same stage where he brought his acerbic sense of humor to Hollywood, Ricky Gervais has been named host of the “73rd Annual Golden Globe Awards,” set for Jan. 10, 2016 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. The three-hour ceremony serves as the official kick-off to awards season and will be aired live coast to coast from 8-11 p.m. ET on NBC.

Box Office: THE MARTIAN back on top as STEVE JOBS, THE LAST WITCH HUNTER flop

It was another weekend for the returning movies to continue bringing in business as Ridley Scott’s The Martian starring Matt Damon returned to the #1 spot at the box office with $15.9 million, down just 25% from its previous weekend, despite the influx of new and expanding films. So far, The Martian has grossed $166 million in its first four weeks and its slowly creeping up into the Top 10 movies of the year.

SHERLOCK special “The Abominable Bride” to air January 1 on BBC and PBS

While everyone waits patiently for Season 4 of PBS and Masterpiece’s popular show “Sherlock,” starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman, BBC One has confirmed that the mysterious Victorian era “Sherlock Special” will be called “Sherlock: The Abominable Bride,” and it will air on PBS and BBC One on New Year’s Day, January 1, 2016 at 9pm Eastern in the US.
