Last night, the final ever episode of Fox’s fantastic drama thriller Touch aired. We still haven’t watched it, so before we do, we decided to make a list of our favourite episodes from the two seasons of the show.
After two troubled seasons, Kiefer Sutherland’s post-’24‘ vehicle ‘Touch‘ has officially been cancelled, after finishing out its second season on Friday nights.
Overall, this was YET ANOTHER brilliant episode, and it continues to astound me that more people aren’t watching the show! Please don’t cancel it!
Here is a review of Touch- Season 2, Episode 6.
Tonight sees the return of last year’s most promising new drama, FOX’s ‘Touch’, starring Kiefer Sutherland.
As we get closer to the end of the year, BuzzHub will be releasing various lists of our favourites and least favourites in different categories. We’re starting with a big one- the best and worst TV shows and episodes of the year.
Good news Touch fans, Fox has confirmed the season two premiere date for Kiefer Sutherland’s hit series, and released cast photos for the upcoming season.
1.‘The Big Bang Theory’ has boasted some of the funniest moments in recent TV history, mostly due to Jim Parsons’ Emmy-winning performance as Sheldon Cooper, the asexual, OCD nerd who has a ‘spot’ on the sofa that no-one else can sit in. Series 6 begins on September 27. Will Wolowitz return safely from space? Will Sheldon lose his virginity? Will Raj finally find love or a cure for his ‘selective mutism’? 2. ‘Modern Family’ is the live-action equivalent of The Simpsons, but with only 11 major characters, it’s a lot easier to feel for the families involved. Cameos coming in the 4th series include Mark Wahlberg and Brad Bird, and after the actors salaries have been raised by a third, we should get some good comedy soon! 3. This sci-fi drama is the perfect mix of ’24’ and ‘Heroes’, which makes sense, considering it stars Kiefer Sutherland and was created by Martin Kring. The season 1 finale was both gripping and heartbreaking, and when the second starts in October, we should get some proper entertainment. 4.After Marshall …
When Fox’s ‘Touch’ began in March, I was sceptical as to whether or not it would be able to tell the story of a widower of a 9/11 victim with a mute son without being offensive or disrespectful. Although at times it lost track of its characters and the acting and dialogue was quite poor, the programme managed to keep within certain boundaries which made it a very enjoyable drama to watch on a weekly basis. At the start if the season, Martin Bohm (Kiefer Sutherland) was working as a baggage-handler in JFK International Airport. He was called out of work because his son, Jake (David Mazouz), had climbed a cell tower, again. We learnt that Jake had never spoken and that he was fascinated with number sequences. He was placed in a centre for children with intellectual disabilities. Over the show’s ten weeks, we meet dozens of different character, living in different parts of the world, but who are all connected in one way or another, but only Jake sees how. In Gyre, the …
The last episode of Touch before the two-part finale, ‘Gyre’ was action-packed and full of emotional moments….here is the plot synopsis: When Martin is mistaken for a criminal, he must involve himself with a heist crew in order to win back an innocent dock worker’s job, but more is at stake than he realizes. Meanwhile, an Israeli boy (Sean Peavy) and Palestinian girl (Eden Modiano) fight to keep their relationship afloat. Clea uncovers some surprising documents about Jake, while Martin and his late wife’s sister (Catherine Dent) meet to make a pivotal decision. Were you happy with the trinultimate episode of season one? The finale airs Tuesday at 8pm GMT on Sky1 HD
Sky 1 will air the first and second parts of the ‘Touch’ finale next Tuesday night between 8pm and 10pm.
