Spongebob Squarepants stage musical announced; David Bowie to pen song!

He’s been a hapless hero of the small and big screens, and now Spongebob SquarePants is about to try his luck on stage. “The end is near,” reads Monday’s press announcement of The SpongeBob Musical, bound for Chicago and Broadway. “Only one sponge can save the day. But he’s going to need help from some of the greatest songwriters in rock and pop music history.”

THE WEST WING: The Best and Worst Episodes

After over 2 years of on-and-off viewing, I completed by binge of NBC’s The West Wing just hours ago. It was a ride. Seasons 1-4 some of the finest television I’ve ever seen, the remaining three equally gripping- be it for different reasons. I’d be lying if I said I was sad to be finished; it really did feel like time. In this article, i’m going to briefly discuss some of my favourite and least favourite episodes from the classic show.

Steve Carrell replaces Bruce Willis in Woody Allen’s new film

It was reported this week that Bruce Willis was exiting Woody Allen’s new project due to his commitments to bring Stephen King’s “Misery” to Broadway, though rumours circulated that Willis was let go by Allen because he didn’t feel he was right for the role. Now Deadline is reporting that Oscar nominated actor Steve Carell will be reuniting with Woody Allen for the first time in over ten years to replace Willis in said role.

Newcomers for the second season include Natalie Alyn Lind, Jessica Lucas, James Frain, and Michael Chiklis.
