Focus Features announced today that it has set an August 1, 2014 release date for the big screen adaptation of E L James’ Fifty Shades of Grey, to be directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson from a script by Kelly Marcel. The other movie scheduled for that date is none other than Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy
The March 2014 release features a stellar ensemble cast and is directed by Darren Aronofsky.
Lionsgate announced that the studio will present The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and I, Frankenstein at the San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday, July 20.
20th Century Fox has unveiled a new international poster for their upcoming solo X-Men movie The Wolverine (via Movie Maniac). Featuring Hugh Jackman as the titular hero, Rila Fukushima as Yukio and Svetlana Khodchenkova as Viper.
Not long after the incredible success of Taken 2, it was revealed that work was underway to bring Taken 3 to theaters. Today, Deadline confirms that Liam Neeson is nearly set to return and will be paid almost $20 million to do so.
