The London Film Festival will close on Oct. 20 with the European premiere of “Saving Mr. Banks,” the story of how “Mary Poppins” was brought to the big screen.
Following the trailer two weeks ago, Walt Disney Pictures has revealed the poster design for Saving Mr. Banks, starring Emma Thompson, Tom Hanks, Colin Farrell, Paul Giamatti, Jason Schwartzman, Bradley Whitford, Annie Rose Buckley, Ruth Wilson, B.J. Novak, Rachel Griffiths and Kathy Baker. The film opens in limited theaters on December 13 before expanding wide on December 20.
Tom Hanks stars as Walt Disney in the upcoming film “Saving Mr. Banks,” about the making of the 1964 Disney classic “Mary Poppins.” The first “Saving Mr. Banks” trailer debuted on Thursday at HuffPost Entertainment and Moviefone.
TIME has debuted this first official photo of Emma Thompson and Tom Hanks in Disney’s Saving Mr. Banks, opening in limited theaters on December 13 before expanding wide on December 20.
Paul Giamatti, Jason Schwartzman and Ruth Wilson have joined the cast of the upcoming John Lee Hancock-directed Saving Mr. Banks.
