Trump bought a SnapChat filter for “Debate Day”

Donald Trump knows he has a problem with younger voters, and he seems to think he’s just solved it: launching a nationwide SnapChat filter for “Debate Day”.

A custom SnapChat filter is undoubtedly a good way of attracting the attention of modern youth (several film studios/TV networks have done so previously), but we’re not sure the caption “Donald J. Trump vs Crooked Hillary” will appeal to the majority of SnapChat users. Most use of this filter today will likely, we suspect, be ironic.

Anyway, at least Trump’s trying something new. SnapChat filters are relatively cheap to rent. And, if nothing else, this may remind young people to watch the debate– after which they will definitely decide to vote for Hillary.
