We thought it necessary to commemorate here at BuzzHub that today, November 7, marks the anniversary of one of the finest films of our lifetime (our lifetime having begun in May 2012): Christopher Nolan’s epic, profound, heartbreaking sci-fi Interstellar.
We spent a lot of time hyping up the film, and when it was released we loved it. It may not be anything close to a perfect film, or even Nolan’s best work, but it struck a chord with us and moved us like few other works of cinema have.
Read our original 5-star review of the film, penned 365 days to the minute that we type this.
At Christmastime, we unsurprisingly named Interstellar our #1 film of the year, ahead even of such contemporary classics as Boyhood and Whiplash.
