HBO has debuted the new full trailer for Season 2 of its Rapture-themed dramatic series “The Leftovers,” which is scheduled to premiere Sunday, October 4 at 9 p.m.
Created by Damon Lindelof (LOST) and acclaimed novelist Tom Perrotta (Little Children), the series is produced for HBO by White Rabbit in association with Warner Bros. Television. Lindelof serves as showrunner.
Season 1 series regulars returning for the new season include Justin Theroux, Amy Brenneman, Margaret Qualley, Chris Zylka, Carrie Coon, Liv Tyler and Christopher Eccleston. New additions to the show include Kevin Carroll (“Law & Order: SVU”), Regina King (“The Strain”), Jovan Adepo (“Blood Relatives”) and Darius McCrary (“Family Matters”).
